One yummy way to celebrate Valentine's Day is by consuming Sweethearts candy.  Growing up the short messages were ways of professing our undying love for the boy next door.  As we get older the messages are a fun way to flirt and have become a staple of Valentine's Day. With or without a valentine, I look forward to the release of these sugar candy treats each year. You may have noticed through the years Valentine's Candy have added sayings like, "Text me" and now the newest hearts will say, "Tweet me".

USA Today has the report that Sweethearts will be embracing Twitter on the heart-shaped candies. Your odds of getting a heart that says Tweet Me is about one in 80.  The new saying is less marketing savvy and more democracy according to the producers of the sweet treat.  A year ago, an online survey asked consumers to come up with their next candy saying. Tweet Me overwhelmingly won. "It's even more proof that people can say anything in short messages," says Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter. "A 140-character message may seem short. Sweethearts are even smaller."

If you are a Twilight nerds you might have heard that last spring to tie-in with the movie, Sweetheart placed the key phrase "Bite Me" from the movie and book on some candy.  But the company received complaints from some consumers. "Some thought that was a bit sexually suggestive," Hague says.
